A Typical Norwegian Christmas Celebration

If you are anything like me you are curious about how other cultures celebrate special days and Christmas is one of the biggest.


In many parts of the world the main Christmas celebration is on 25 December, or Christmas Day, but in Scandinavia it's a little different. The main Christmas celebration is actually on 24 December, on what we would call in English Christmas Eve. Here it's called "Julaften" (yool-aff-tun).
