Traditional and historical recipes are so often used only in certain areas, unless it's the recipes that cultures are famous for (take fyrstekake for example). Because of this they are not made as often as they should be and frequently lost over generations which is such a shame as many of the more historical recipes are full of flavour and interesting ingredients.
