Simple and delicious sorrel soup (Engsyre suppe)


Sorrel is one of those old-fashioned greens that no-one seems to eat anymore, unless you live in France or Poland where it's still hugely popular. It's such a shame that it's not eaten more because it has a delicious fresh distinctive citrusy flavour that is refreshing to the palate and so unlike lots of other foods that we eat regularly. It's most definitely not something you would never describe as bland!
