Summer in the Nordics is just what you could imagine it to be. The days are long with very little night time, it's warm and sunny and the meadows and mountains are covered in flowers. The birds are singing and you feel a need to get out into the open spaces and explore. It's also a time when all the seters are open again and we can visit some of them and experience life as it was when it revolved around the seasons, the farms and rural life.
