Welcome December!
As you can probably imagine, December in the Nordics is full of snow, long cosy evenings and of course Christmas. In fact Christmas everything. Whether or not you celebrate, or whether or not you are Christian, the Christmas celebrations are a huge part of life here in December. And of course, many of those traditions date back to times before the Nordic region was Christian. There are lots of traditions that are thousands of years old from times when the Nordic gods and the Vikings ruled Scandinavia.
