In the summer it seems almost effortless to take care of our mental wellbeing. The days are longer and lighter, the sun is often out and we don't have to burden ourselves with the problems of cold weather and bulky clothing. We can wander outside in bare feet, spend long evenings sitting under the evening sky with a book and watch the insects on the flowers around us. All this is calming and great for our minds, but it's also a superb time to set up some healthy habits that will carry us through in the autumn and winter when mental health can often start to deteriorate and challenge us.
