I've included vegetables and foraging together as many of ingredients I forage for are in fact vegetables of some description.
My home country of Norway offers countless opportunities for foraging and although I was an avid forager before I've really expanded my repertoire since living in Norway.
Scandinavians have a long tradition of of foraging and this still holds true today with many people regularly going berry picking and mushrooming.
